Matthew Margeson Will Score YOUNG JEDI ADVENTURES For Disney Junior
Lucasfilm’s STAR WARS: YOUNG JEDI ADVENTURES is the first animated STAR WARS series focused for preschoolers, grade schoolers, and their families. It is scheduled for release in Spring 2023 on Disney+ and Disney Junior. and a group of Younglings
Composer Matthew Margeson (KINGSMAN SERIES, ROCKETMAN, MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN, PAM & TOMMY) will to score the series. The series will follow Jedi Master Yoda and a group of Younglings as they are swept off into adventures and start their journeys on the path to becoming Jedi Knights, learning valuable skills for our galaxy and the galaxy far, far away. The new series will be part of the era known as the High Republic, set centuries before the events of STAR WARS: THE PHANTOM MENACE.
YOUNG JEDI ADVENTURES will follow another new animated STAR WARS series announced recently, TALES OF THE JEDI, which is created by Dave Filoni and Charles Murray and will explore different Jedi characters from the prequel trilogy era. The series is composed by Kevin Kiner, known for scoring the popular animated STAR WARS series THE CLONE WARS, REBELS, and THE BAD BATCH. It is set to premiere on Disney+ is in late 2022 and will consist of six episodes, while YOUNG JEDI ADVENTURES will have a much larger presence when it premieres next year.
