League of Legends Game Spawns ARCANE TV Series, Scored by LoL’s Alex Seaver & Alexander Temple

Every legend has a beginning. From the creators of LEAGUE OF LEGENDS comes a new animated series, ARCANE, which follows the origins of two iconic champions who, amidst the stark discord of twin cities Piltover and Zaun, fight on rival sides of a war between magic technologies and clashing convictions. The voice cast includes Hailee Steinfeld, Ella Purnell, Kevin Alejandro, Katie Leung, Jason Spisak, Toks Olagundoye, JB Blanc and Harry Lloyd.

ARCANE is a currently airing animated streaming television “event series” set in the League Of Legends universe (a 2009 multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Riot Games). Like the game which it is based on, ARCANE is aimed at a “16+” audience and will deal with some more adult subject matter. The series was released simultaneously on Netflix and China’s Tencent Video website on November 6, 2021, with the series broken into three episodes, of “Acts,” released over three weeks.

The ARCANE series is scored by Alex Seaver and Alexander Temple, both of whom composed the League of Legends video game music. Q&A Media’s Venice Music will release multiple soundtrack albums series, including song compilations and three separate score soundtrack albums featuring the music of composers Seaver and Temple. The first of these score albums features music from Act I and is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and other digital music stores) and two more score albums will be coming over the next two weeks.
